Naturalization (N-400) Test Redesign
USCIS has redesigned its test to become a U.S. Citizen. USCIS has released a Press Release with details.
Family Petitions by U.S. Citizens (I-130) Can No Longer be Direct Filed at U.S. Embassies
The Department of State has issued a Cable confirming U.S. embassies and consulates are no longer authorized to accept I-130 due to the Adam Walsh Protection Act. Only the USCIS will be responsible and able to accept and approve immigrant visa petitions. American citizens should submit their I-130 at the CIS office responsible for their place of residence. This will undoubtedly cause delays.
